Small groups will work together to create a silent frozen scene, with all participants playing a role.

This PowerPoint was presented to Education Directors and Golden Gate education staff in November 2014. It includes an overview of the benefits of social and emotional learning (SEL), common language, and tools for working with students. 

Students will perform their own insulation investigations in order to better understand how to minimize heat loss while out in the cold. Students will construct small shelters then test their effectiveness at combating the cold over time.
